Day 1:
07:00/07:30hrs- Departure from Zanzibar or Dar by Auric Air Scheduled to Nyerere National Park-Ex Selous.
08:55hrs– On landing at Mtemere airstrip and to be picked up by 4×4 open safari vehicle, short game drive in Nyerere National Park on the way to the camp located inside the park in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive or boat safari onto Lake Manze or Rufiji River where you can see Hippos, Crocodiles and different types of birds. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2:
After breakfast, Choice between full day game drive with packed lunch (usually goes towards the Beho Beho area where the hot springs are) or you can do a short walking safari which can take almost 2 hours to see the animal’s tracks, their dung, to see plants and trees, and generally to enjoy being in nature without a vehicle.
Before dinner time you will have time to share with your fellow guest what you saw during the game drive. You will have dinner and overnight.
Day 3:
After breakfast, departing with lunch box, short game drive by 4×4 open safari vehicle on the way to airstrip to board Auric Air departing to Dar/Zanzibar at 10:15hrs and arrive Dar at 11:05hrs and Zanzibar at 11:30hrs.
