Day 1: Arrival Day
Meet and greet at Julius Nyerere International Airport, transfer to the hotel in Dar Es salaam and overnight, ready for unforgettable safari experience in Southern Circuit of Tanzania. If you will land in the morning you will fly on the same day as there is an afternoon flight to Nyerere National Park-Ex Selous.
Day 2 – 4: Selous/Nyerere National Park
To be picked up at the hotel and transfer to the domestic airport to board flight departing to Nyerere National Park (Ex-Selous), the flight will take almost 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Arriving at the airstrip you will be picked up by professional driver & guide, you will start to experience the unique environment rich in water, channels and lakes. Abundant with wildlife and little visited by tourist, compared to northern parks.
You will choose either to go for full day game drive with packed lunch towards the Beho Beho area where the hot springs are or you can do a short walking safari escorted by TANAPA rangers, this can take almost 2 hours to see the animal’s tracks, their dung, to see plants and trees, and generally to enjoy being in nature without a vehicle.
Before dinner time you will have time to share with your fellow guest what you saw during the game drive. You will have dinner and overnight.
Day 5 – 7: Ruaha National Park
You will be transferred to the airstrip and fly to one of the finest and largest remote park in southern Tanzania.
Arriving at the airstrip you will be picked up by professional driver & guide, you will start to experience the magical wildlife heaven in Tanzania, the park of the largest elephant and it is the one of the four Cheetah’s destinations, the perfect park that host over 500 birds species.
During the game drive you will enjoy every second on how Ruaha is blessed, you will see the Baobab trees, acacia trees and many other trees that are not mentioned, you will also see the great Ruaha river, some of beautiful hills. Without forgetting to experience the bush breakfast, bush lunches and sundowners on an open vehicle.
Day 8: Departure
After breakfast you will do a short game drive on the way to the airstrip to board the flight departing to your next destination.
